• Hermit Gulch
This is found one and a half miles from the boat landing on the Avalon Canyon Road, campers can hike or just take a cab from Avalon. It is situated on a grassy field with big trees. This has 54 tent sites with toilets, picnic grounds, showers and stores.
• Two Harbors
This is located in Two Harbor. You can hike about one-fourth mile uphill to get in here. There are 43 tent sites which has chemical toilets, showers, bar and laundry. Snorkeling, biking and hiking are some of the best activities in here.
• Little Harbor
This is located seven miles east of the Two Harbor and sixteen miles west of the Avalon. For most hikers, they would chose to hike to get there than to take a bus. There are also many tent sites available. Toilets, showers, picnic tables, etc. are accessible in this great area.
• Blackjack
This is situated near the highest peak of Catalina. You can get in here by hiking for one and a half mile or simply take the Safari bus. It has eleven tent sites with toilets, picnic tables and fire ring.
