Tent for Camping

Florida Camping: Experience a Camp at the Sunshine State of America

Camping is one of the best outdoor activities ever discovered. When we say camping, it actually means staying outside particularly in forested areas. People normally use tents when on camping to shelter them from too much hot during the daytime and cold weather during the night.

Camping is done when people are fed up of living in the city and doing their daily routine. They choose camping to escape from too much pressure brought by the noisy and fast paced city. One of the famous camping destinations in the United States is the state of Florida.

Florida is considered the U.S. sunshine state because it is the buffet of sun. Campers like to camp in here because of its mild climate which usually permits them to camp and do other outdoor activities all throughout the year. They even believed that at the time you lay your head and sleep on the ground of Florida, the soil will go beyond your senses.

However, most people said that Florida camping can be very pricey. This is because some would have to spend at least 23 dollars just to camp in their own van for one night. But it was worth the place since most of the state parks in Florida are beautiful.

On the other hand, some campers said that camping in Florida can also be affordable. There are camping grounds that are provided for free. An example of this is the Apalachicola National Forest.

Of course, because of too much frugality most campers would choose to camp at the free or inexpensive campground. Most of these camping grounds are found in the dark woods and dark water of slow river.

Florida campers usually prefer a lesser crowd place since it would help them to feel the atmosphere of having a camping. They normally avoid staying in a noisy and crowded place. In fact one of the best choices of most Florida campers for a very relaxing and adventurous camping is the Lake Talquin.

But if you do not want the noiseless place of Lake Talquin, here are some of the best camping grounds in the Florida from which you can choose from for your next adventure:

• Seaside/beaches of South Walton
• Live oak/Lake City
• Crystal River
• Apalachicola Port St. Joe
• Panama City Beach Area
• Lake Okeechobee Area
• Charlotte Harbor
• St. Petersburg Clearwater
• Destin/ Ft. Walton Beach Area
• Daytona Beach Area
• Gainesville Area
• Orlando/Kissimmee

Most of these campgrounds are easily occupied by visitors and campers so, it is suggested to make advance reservations. It is really annoying to travel for long hours only to find out that your there is no room available at the campground you want to stay. Therefore making some reservation can be really helpful.

When making reservation, the factors you need to avoid are:

1. Areas near the road because it might disturb you during the night.
2. Areas near a body of water because it might flood when it rains.
3. Areas too near or too far from the restrooms.
4. Areas with no security.

Most camping grounds are already equipped with water and electricity while others do not. There are instances that these features can be useful to you. Therefore, it will be a nice idea to choose an area with these features.

Since expenses are still a big factor during camping, it would be better if you always have spared money on your pocket. Lastly, make sure that you have everything that you need before leaving.
